George Leonard Hulse, 78, of Phillipsburg, died April 7, 2024.
Born May 5, 1945 in Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Daniel and Louise (Tucker) Hulse.
George faithfully served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
He was a member of the Washington Assembly of God.
George loved spending time with his wife of 54 years and his family. He tried to never miss his children or grandchildren's functions, from ballgames to concerts. George loved fishing and camping. He especially loved his camping / fishing trips to Canada. George also loved his family photos. He never missed an open opportunity to take a picture.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Jane E. (Townsend) Hulse; his sons, George L. Jr. and his wife Kim of Dunmore, PA, John and his wife Jill of Erie, PA, Christopher his wife Lori of Nanticoke, PA, Brian and his wife Lori of Allentown, PA, Kevin and his wife Kerry of Phillipsburg, and William of Nanticoke, PA; a daughter Faith and her fiance Mark of Pen Argyl, PA; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother Dan and George's faithful grand-dog, Bruce. An infant brother and sisters, Eloise, Bonnie and Carol Ann all preceded George in death.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ (www.noto-wynkoop.com). Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday in the funeral home, followed by burial in the Stewartsville Lutheran Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ.
